Discovering and using materials found on the beaches along the Solway Firth. Industry of many different kinds, has for centuries left its mark along the coastline. Remnants of it, are now being worn down by the tide and scattered along the many beaches. I’m exploring these beaches, picking up and creating differently graded pigments from the host of materials found on them.
