Refusal to Remain Visible is an ongoing investigation within The Coveration of Eve, developed during the Hospitalfield Interdisciplinary Residency in 2026. Beginning with the question of what it might mean for a body to choose to leave an image, the work moves through questions of role, image, frame and archive. Developed through collage, visual notebooks, image-based research and an evolving research wall, the project explores leaving, visibility and what remains when the body is no longer present.
