This series of paintings, inspired by photos of my Grandparent’s wedding is a mediation on the passage of time, family connections and the impossibility of ever truly capturing a moment however special or longed for.
The paintings invite the viewer to step into the liminal space between the present and the past and to reflect on how we continue to move forward, whether we want to or not.
