The second part of the “A Sense of Arcadia” collection sees further screen and digitally printed luxury wallpapers and interior fabrics. Looking at the escapism and tranquil elements of our gardens and the comfort that textiles bring into our homes with hints from the Arts and Crafts Movement.

Designs capturing Jane’s fine-line hand drawn qualities from her visual studies of the gardens and countryside that we escape too. Jane Gray’s handwriting style is of an illustrative style that hints at archival drawings and etchings. This style has evolved and developed over the years and has become a strong basis of her design practice.

With focus on using fabrics and papers that are made from natural materials, and where possible keeping the use of technology to the minimum only using it to help elevate the designs, not create fully. Mixing contemporary illustrative style with the more traditional processes. For example, a full-length screen-printed wallpaper, Cyanotype developing, lino printing etc. Ensuring the hand-touched affect is not lost.

The collection has been designed with the target market of medium to high end interior market and could also be used in life-style elements, and stationery.
