BECOME A VAS MEMBER

VAS Membership is available to all artists across Scotland and beyond (we have membership in Scotland, UK and internationally. We champion a wide range of visual and applied arts disciplines. You can be early in your career or a well established artist - the VAS community is broad with over 1,200 members.

2024 is packed full of exciting opportunities for our Members:

  • Then And Now: One Hundred Years of VAS - Centenary Annual Exhibition at the Royal Scottish Academy, Edinburgh

  • TATHA Gallery exhibition in Fife

  • A partnership exhibition with Scottish Ornithologists’ Club (SOC) in Aberlady

  • VAS members stall at the Borders Art Fair 

  • An exhibition and maker’s market at Dalkeith Palace

For most of these opportunities you MUST be a VAS member. 

 

How to become a Member:

There are varying levels of membership and prices. See below:

* Associate Member (£24) - this has increased from £20 ( £2 per month overall) *

* Ordinary Member (£40) - this has increased from £36 (£3.30 per month overall) *

* Professional Member (£54) - this has increased from £50 (£4.16 per month overall) *

*All less than the price of an Iced Cappuccino!

 

Membership & Payment Details

Membership will run annually from the date you make your first payment and from the 1st of March 2024 until the 1st of March 2025. You can cancel at any time. We will no longer be using the PayPal subscription plan model and request that Members pay their fee by setting up an annual Standing Order or pay by direct bank transfer. We kindly request that you pay your renewal by the 31st March 2024. Any queries, please email members@visualartsscotland.org.
