A multi-disciplinary artist from Forfar, Scotland interested in the often paradoxical nature of identity and the effects of place on perception. Early sculptural and digital works under the banner of 'Albaland' explore Scottish identity and stereotype, challenging conflicting perceptions on Scottish people and culture - romanticisms vs harsh realities - melding each together with humour and pathos.
Recently, Ewan has been exploring more universal themes on identity, the influence of propoganda-based platforms and social media, and the inherent contradictions in political rhetoric and societal systems.
