Creating artwork from images of interest and varied subjects be it still life or landscapes.

The relationship emotions can have with the changing moods within a landscape and the interactions with objects and people can either exasperate them or absorb them so the most satisfying and meaningful subjects to capture are the ones closest to my heart.

By using colour in varied ways , and by carrying something over from one painting to another has become a personal signature evident throughout my work.

My preferred medium is Acrylic often experimenting with various tools to give texture, interest and depth to the surface and most important recycling unsuccessful paintings into new work because I believe any energy put into a piece of art should have a place and that's not in the bin.
