Lin Chau won the Sally Schofield Award for her 2025 Monoprint with Xuan paper Chine-collé ‘Echos In Green 2’.

“This monoprint was created during my artist residency with the Royal Drawing School at Dumfries House this spring, drawn from the abundant trees and lush vegetation surrounding the estate. The image was first painted directly onto a metal plate, then printed onto rice paper, and finally chine-collé onto Somerset paper using a press.”

Awarded by Visual Arts Scotland for exceptional photography or printmaking in memory of former administrator Sally Schofield.
