Visual Arts Scotland in collaboration with the Cordis Trust are delighted to announce that the winner of the the third in the series of the Cordis Trust Prizes for Tapestry is Jo Barker. Her remarkable tapestry, Swirl, is on display along with the other shortlisted entries at FLY 2016 at the Royal Scottish Academy, The Mound, Edinburgh, until 27 December 2016.

The shortlisted entries will be exhibited at Visual Arts Scotland’s next Exhibition in the Upper Galleries of the Royal Scottish Academy in December 2016.

The prize amount is £3000. The shortlist was be drawn up by our prestigious panel of guest selectors with specialist knowledge of woven tapestry; Fiona Mathison and Susan Mowatt, along with Miranda Harvey of the Cordis Trust, Nicky Wilson, owner of Jupiter Artland, and VAS President Robbie Bushe.
