Visual Arts Scotland x Tea Green Events: Makers Market – Transformer

2nd – 3rd August

The Burrell Collection, Glasgow

We are delighted to be involved in the Tea Green Summer programme of events, to showcase the work of our creative community. Over the summer you can also find us at the following Tea Green Events.

To tie in with Visual Arts Scotland’s transition from one form into another this year, we are curating an exhibition of the work of VAS Council, on the theme of transformation.

You are invited to submit any work that you feel meets the brief.  Please interpret the theme in whichever way you choose, whether that is through the reuse of found materials, ideas of alchemic change, metamorphosis or other transformational work.

The intention is to showcase the broad range of making practised by the VAS council and include as many people as possible. This means that work cannot be too large as the stall where the work will be shown is of limited size.

We are also planning to invite former council members to take part in the exhibition. If you have someone in mind, please let us know so that we can send them this call-out.
