Scotland’s biggest contemporary art and craft market is set to debut in August 2025 at Dalkeith Palace and Country Park. With 140 artists and makers spanning both the grounds of Dalkeith Country Park and interior of Dalkeith Place, this artist and maker market and accompanying exhibitions will showcase exciting pieces that hail from across Scotland. 

This landmark event marks the first time Visual Arts Scotland has ventured beyond its renowned programme of exhibitions, residencies and awards since launching over 100 years ago. Dalkeith Palace and Country Park will be transformed into a hotbed of creativity – visitors will explore and buy art, meet makers from across Scotland and beyond, and enjoy curated exhibitions in the historic venue just 7 miles from Edinburgh.
