Zoe Zhao is an Edinburgh-based illustrator and artist whose practice focuses on bird observation, ecological drawing, and nature-based storytelling. Working primarily in watercolour and sketchbooks, her work explores the relationship between field observation, memory, and personal experience within natural environments. Through ongoing observational projects, she investigates drawing as a contemporary form of natural history documentation shaped by lived encounters with place and wildlife.
