Fraser

My work emerges from experiences in natural spaces, where walking becomes a quiet act of connection. Moving through the landscape, the body follows paths that often lead toward the unknown. In these moments, we begin to heal with the land and alongside it. Hands clutch the earth as the earth, in turn, holds us. Each painting carries me back to a place—a memory, a fleeting moment where time feels suspended. These moments live within the paths, the stones, and the pigments of the soil beneath our feet. Through walking, we embody both memory and place. I think of my paintings as vessels for these experiences—spaces that hold traces of the land and invite the viewer to enter, linger, and inhabit the memory within them.
