I create something everyday in my studio…or to be more precise, the back bedroom! I have been painting for as long as I remember. I’m an intuitive artist. I do a lot of mark making before I lay down any designs. From these initial shapes & tones, I can carve out what I want to depict. My favourite subjects are land & sea scapes, along with the flowers & critters of Scotland. When the light fades, it’s time to pick up the needle and thread. I spend most evenings experimenting with stitching and let it just unfold.
