Verdant Jewellery is an Eco brand run by Shirley Lowe, using recycled precious metals and ethically sourced stone to create unique landscapes based on the Ochil hills surrounding Stirling. The miniature sculptures are one of a kind, created individually with care and attention to honour the topography of Central Scotland. A recent graduate of the inaugural MA Craft programme at Edinburgh College of Art, Shirley has been exploring her passion for the environment outwith her jewellery discipline, using Ice as a material to capture a moment in time, which she then transforms into permanent object in Bronze, Glass and Ceramics.
