Shaunie Boy is a contemporary artist whose practice utilises digital technologies alongside traditional methods. His work is characterised by meticulously rendered paintings and crafted objects, blending precision with playful references. Drawing on childhood narratives filtered through the lens of adulthood. Toys, fragments of printed media, echoes of television, film, and music are gathered and reconfigured, creating a visual language that both celebrates and interrogates nostalgia. The resulting works are layered explorations of cultural memory—playful yet poignant, intimate yet universal. he explores memory and identity by reworking elements of popular culture.
