Sarah Knox studied Fine Art and English Literature at Exeter University followed by post-grad at University of London. Her career has included art teaching, arts broadcasting as well as gallery education at Tate Britain, City Art Centre, National Galleries of Scotland and the Fruitmarket Gallery. She is based in Edinburgh and her work focuses on the wild places of Scotland. Sarah sketches, using film and photography on location, and refines and develops paintings and prints in the studio.
