I am aware that my life is yet to be lived, that the answers to my art I dream too hard to be answered are not there yet. I spend most of my time decoding myself and others; those in politics, those close to me, and the public . My work takes the form of large-scale kinetic sculptures made from a combination of wood and fabric, often using objects or animals to sew metaphorical meanings into, informed by a subconscious absorption of experience . Between the lulls of creating, I read, illustrate, photograph, and write, all following my ongoing investigation into the critique of human conformance. There is a softness on the surface, something playful and gentle, but beneath runs a quieter motif of political unease and a discomfort in being.
