Meehan

Based in the Scottish Borders, I trained as a Fine Artist ( Printmaker) and specialise in bold and decorative botanical and bird images. My botanical work is based on plants I grows in my garden and the bird images are inspired by the fantastic colours found in nature. I works in a variety of mediums including lino, drypoint, collogrpahs but most notably with scraperboard, where I works from black to white, carefully removing the dark outer layer to reveal the light before adding those signature colours.

Disciplines: Printmaking

Location: Birgham, Nr Coldstream

Materials: Etching, Lino Print, Paper, Relief Print
