I like to explore all sorts of materials and techniques derived from working in museum artefact conservation, I have an interest in ‘historical’ precedents in artisanal process and material technology. I flit from drawing scenes and landscapes to slab built ceramics sculpture to wood carving to copper working – exploring materiality and process.
