Sheppard

Nicole Sheppard is a multimedia artist and educator, born in Fife and now based in Jersey, Channel Islands. Her work often centres material led process and personal narrative. Nicole works closely with her local surroundings to explore natural heritage, objecthood, social histories, liminality, and, increasingly, folk ritual. In this context, engaging with environments through a new-materialist lens.

Previous Experience

Previous projects and residencies include; OffCourts Film Festival (2026); 13th Parish Film Festival (2026);’ Avai-l’ieu’ Channel Islands Contemporary Art Show, ArtHouse Jersey, Arts for Guernsey and Passerelle Centre d’Art Contemporian (2026); ‘Muck and the Mire’, Paradise Works, Manchester (2024); New Contemporaries (2022) at the Fernes Gallery, Humber Street Gallery and South London Gallery.
