Margaret is a self-taught painter based in West Lothian who has recently returned to art after many years working in Engineering. Her work focuses on expressive, and textures that captures moods and atmosphere. Drawing on both technical discipline and and creative intuition, she works with layered colour and bold strokes to create emotionally resonant scenes. Reconnecting with painting has become a meaningful way for her to rediscover creativity and personal expression, and her current work explores the freedom and energy that come with returning with returning to art.
