Graduated Glasgow School of Art, Environmental Art 1993. I have been teaching Art & Design and Photography for nearly 20 years and this inspired my recent return to painting. My subject matter is mainly animals, some people and more recently, still life. I enjoyed the tradition and technicality of oil paint combined with the physics of light. I have a contemporary realist style in which I explore the physical character of my subjects.
