Disciplines: Mixed Media

Location: Acharacle

My practice takes reference from the physical landscape and permeates though to a sense of mental landscape. The Highlands have had a strong influence on my life and as a result my work mainly centres around the West Coast of Scotland. Using a mix of photographic processes, abstract drawing and painting, I create a dialogue between my cultural past and present, examining their interplay, and creating a visually response that borders on the ethereal and the natural as we see it.
