Tanner

Kirsty Tanner is a Scottish artist, designer and maker, living in Manchester. Working in paint, textiles and collage she explores natural and built environments and moments in time or memory. Kirsty’s childhood in rural Scotland meets her love of Modernist design and Brutalist architecture, combining abstract expressions of land or sky, with strong architectural line and negative space. Kirsty’s work is held by a number of galleries around the UK and she has created paintings and textile work for a range of private collectors. Kirsty also runs design studio Tom Pigeon.
