I am a contemporary Scottish painter based in Glasgow, working predominantly in oil. My atmospheric paintings are inspired by the ever-changing coastlines and islands of western Scotland. Through walking, sketching and immersing myself in the landscape, I develop paintings that explore the embodied experience of weather, light, sea and memory. Rather than describing a specific place, my work seeks to evoke atmosphere, movement and the embodied experience of place. I graduated with a First Class BA (Hons) in Painting from the Open College of the Arts, awarded by The Open University, in 2026. My work has been exhibited throughout Scotland and is held in private collections.
