Nicola Neate is a multidisciplinary artist working across fine art printmaking, photography, sculpture, and socially engaged practice. Trained in painting, printmaking, and photography (MA Fine Art Printmaking, Camberwell; PGDip Photography, Sunderland; BA Fine Art Painting, Ravensbourne), her work explores landscape, ecological relationships, and the social histories embedded in place. Alongside her two-dimensional work, Neate creates sculptural assemblages using found and sourced materials, often drawing on environmental narratives and site-specific research. These sculptural works frequently accompany her photographic and print-based projects, extending her interest in materiality, memory, and the layers of human and non-human presence within landscapes.
