Growing up in Paris within an immigrant family, I was immersed in a multicultural environment defined by diversity, tolerance, and generosity. The vibrant mix of music, cuisine, and scents from my community left a lasting mark on my artistic sensibilities. My work draws heavily from the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, a period that serves as a continual source of inspiration. The paintings I create are spontaneous and dynamic, filled with energetic movement and bold, vivid colours. Rather than simply depicting what I see, I aim to reimagine how things might appear, using a figurative style to convey emotion and imagination. I primarily use oil paints and palette knives, which allow me to create rich textures, depth, and a sense of motion in my artwork. My themes are always in flux; with each new idea, I adapt my techniques, experiment with new colours, and explore different approaches. Nature is a constant source of inspiration for my creativity, but I am equally motivated by contemporary dance, fashion, and cinema. My Spanish heritage also plays a significant role in shaping my artistic voice and expression. Through my art, my intention is to evoke emotion, prompt questions, and encourage viewers to reflect. Each piece is meant to offer a unique sensation or to transport the viewer into an imaginative and distinct world.
