I am a recently retired landscape architect and historic building specialist. Landscape and old buildings therefore feature strongly in my artwork. Most of my subjects are in Scotland. In the last few years I have finally been able to concentrate on art. I spend a long time looking and thinking about painting.

Previous Experience

I have had some training in architectural drawing (Edinburgh), print-making (Glasgow Print Studio) and painting (Open College of the Arts). I have had a few paintings hung in the Kelvingrove Gallery in Glasgow, the Smith Gallery and the MacRobert Arts Centre in Stirling. I have also exhibited on and off with various art clubs and small galleries.
