I mainly work with Acrylic on large Canvases. I have been painting for the last 30 years, and my art can be viewed as the chronology of my life. My work has changed and adapted as my life circumstances have. I never know what will come onto the canvas; my paintings are mostly completed through a felt sense of emotion that needs to be released. An energy that words alone cannot describe. In 2025, I completed my MSc in Mindfulness meditation at the University of Aberdeen, and my newly produced art has taken on a more undefined nature of the human body that merges as energy with the space around us. The solid lines of our human body almost evaporate into our surroundings, with a sense that no lines divide us, that all humans are part of one big life, that our energies flow into each other, and when we find this connection, we come to realise that everything is about love and peace in the world; every action, every spoken word, every thought creates our energy.
