My work begins in the quiet spaces between memory and myth. It has been greatly influenced by the landscape of my childhood, its hills, mountains and wildflowers. I have always gravitated towards mixed media art, as it offers infinite possibilities for storytelling, for blending materials and worlds. I particularly like working with print media and cut paper as it gives me the freedom to re-shape narratives, to explore the blurred boundary between the natural world and inner experience. I always seek to create work that invites viewers into moments of stillness, where they can meet their own histories with gentleness.
