I am a Scottish artist primarily focusing on natural forms and landscape, taking inspiration from the countryside surrounding my home. My work usually begins outdoors with spontaneous observational drawings and paintings, trying to capture the feeling of the environment in time and place. These works are often developed further in the studio using a wide variety of media.

Previous Experience

I graduated in drawing and painting from Edinburgh College of Art before following a career in art education. I now concentrate on my own work which I exhibit in galleries and shows..
