Annie Faichney is a Scottish visual artist based in Glasgow. She studied Art History at the University of St Andrews and Painting and Printmaking at the Glasgow School of Art. Her work expands across multiple media, including moving image, photography, sound, installation, painting and writing. Annie’s practice is shaped by a deep curiosity in embodiment, sensory experience, organic matter, and what it is to experience the ineffable. She works through a process of layering media, resulting in dreamlike visual or auditory meditations that interweave bodies, plants and landscapes.
