I am a Painter and Textile Artist based between Stirlingshire and Orkney. Following a 25-30 year carreer as a designer in Italy’s fashion Industry, I returned to Scotland in 2022 to focus on my Art practice. Due to considerable experience with textiles and fibre, my work is mainly focused on Textile Art. I am a full member of EDGE Textile Artists Scotland and exhibit regularly with their program of physical exhibitions throughout Scotland. I tend to work in thematic series, focused around specific inspiratons. Much of my ongoing inspiration comes from Orkney – Its Landscape, culture and folklore and this is also a considerabe interest in my painting. My textile work in particular focuses on rich, high-relief textural and chromatic impact. My mission is to stimulate the audience to engage with a message or inspiration through overt visual seduction.
