  • Biography
My work is mainly the interpretation of real life and snapshots of the world around me. I do not try to create accurate depictions of reality, I like to wander into the abstract, into the slightly unreal interpretations I create.
I draw on my background, life experiences, love of colours and nature's forms. My decorative art is influenced by my walks in the countryside, from garden plants, houses and flowers. I am inspired by my memories of people I meet and places I visit, the photographs I take, and the sketches I make. My work is inspired by the reality surrounding me and is a conversion of the energy of my environment. These are the sources of references from which I wander, creating my vivid and colourful interpretations, trying to inspire an appreciation of the quirkiness of life through my lively work.
I have developed as an artist and have experimented with a variety of media, fromoils to thread paintings, papier mache and mixes to create my current style.
