  • Biography
Since Graduating from Glasgow School of Art in 2013 with a degree in Silversmithing and Jewellery I have organically developed a portfolio career spanning Jewellery and Object design and making, teaching, craft development and curatorial practice.
Maker, educator and curator I deliver projects, exhibitions and workshops collaboratively with arts organisations and other educational facilities. Inspiring and empowering people through making, and encouraging sustainability within the practice of Art Jewellery.
I create ethical art objects and adornment using Fair Trade recycled metals along with found rocks I collect throughout the UK.
I have been exploring ways in which I can incorporate these found rocks within my work, grinding them as pigments and breaking into shards to create pattern and texture. I also cut and shape them by hand to compliment my clean minimal aesthetics. Interested in the way people interact with objects, my designs are often transformable or component based, giving the owner autonomy over how they wear or display the work.
