The jewellery industry relies on natural resources most commonly retrieved from the earth in a destructive manner. I set out to produce ethically sound and aesthetically pleasing pieces using traditional techniques, while reducing or replacing any toxic or harmful chemicals used in the process.
Currently based in Dundee, where I studied at Duncan of Jordonstone gaining a BDes (Hons), I am constantly inspired by living near the water. The environment weighs heavy on my mind and I only use repurposed, or recycled materials in a hope to reduce waste.
Bachelor of Jewellery and Metal Design (Hons). June 2018.
