  • Biography
My work explores the world at microcosm and macrocosm level. Photographic, printed or drawn images are altered to create miniature worlds as if viewed under a microscope or to mimic the vastness of large geographical features captured through aerial photography. Tiny natural structures like grasses and plant specimens are also investigated. Both books and prints question notions of scale and viewpoint inviting the viewer to participate in the process of looking and decoding. The languages of geography, cartography, bookbinding and textiles are continually referenced.
