  • Biography
I am originally from the west of Scotland and have lived and worked in Edinburgh for over 30 years.
My first training was in Printmaking and Textile Design at Hornsey Art College (London) and subsequently completed a Furniture Construction & Design course at Fife College (Kirkcaldy).
As a full time artist, I continue to develop my creativity through courses in painting, sculpture, printmaking and textile design, all of which influence my work.
I work principally in acrylics with some pieces in additional collage.

Through my paintings, I present the subjects of people / birds / landscape in a way that reflects my interest in the mythic or surreal interpretation of everyday existence.
