I work meticulously, putting a great deal of time, detail and careful precision into each drawing. I have always considered drawing a significant part of my creative practice but mainly as a preliminary tool for creating more comprehensive pieces of work. Through years of exploration and experimentation at university however, I have discovered just how fundamental it is in defining myself as an artist. My preferred medium is fineliner pens because they allow diverse mark-making by simply changing the direction, motion or weight of the line.
