  • Biography
I work across a range of disciplines – including sculpture, installation, drawing and video – to create artworks that reflect my interest in the built environment. My studio work is linked to my work in places that attract me for reasons connected to the design, history and function of buildings. Projects often take the form of self-initiated residencies where work is made on site - sometimes in transit - in urban, rural and coastal locations, where architectural features become subject matter. Information gathered on site, through observational drawing, sculptural interventions and video, directly informs my studio work.

In addition to my self directed practice, I have also undertaken a number of large scale public art commissions for new hospitals in Aberdeen, Glasgow, Brighton and Bristol.
