I trained at Edinburgh College of Art and then Goldsmiths’ London, undertaking scholarships at Hospital Fields, Arbroath and Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts (Poland) in painting. etching and lithography. I then completed my teaching qualification in Art at Reading University before returning to Scotland and working in Further, Secondary and Higher Education. Later on, I learnt new techniques at Edinburgh Art College working with glass, tapestry weaving and ceramics. I now live in Aberdeenshire and make use of the Torry ceramics studios for firing larger pieces. I enjoy creating painted, fused and cast glass work, painting and sculptural ceramics.
