Based in Fife, Julia designs and hand weaves contemporary textile art for interiors in the form of unique wall hangings and framed artwork. In a world that moves at such a fast pace, where machines can make anything, she chooses to work more slowly and to be more present. Each artwork is inspired by hills and mountains, woodlands or rivers, created between the memory and the imagination. These landscapes hold stories from millions of years of history.
