We are delighted to be able to offer 2 paid, 2 week residency spaces in partnership with Cove Park, a unique residency space in rural Scotland for artists and creative practitioners. Cove Park sits on a 50 acre site on the shore of Loch Long, and has up to 10 artists in residence at any one time, with people traveling from all over the world to benefit from the magnificent surroundings, supportive creative community and purpose-built, award winning facilities.

Each selected artist will have a solo self-contained accommodation pod, along with their own studio space on site. 

(One of the residency pods is fully accessible with space for a carer/pa to accompany an artist if required)

All residents have access to a communal area with a shared kitchen, library, and dining area if they wish to immerse fully in the community aspect of the environment. 

Cove Park staff are always on site to offer support to the residents.

Criteria for selection:

Tell us about your practice (max 200 words)

Tell us how the Cove Park residency would support  and impact your practice (max 200 words)

What would you focus on during the residency (max 200 words)

How would you document your time on the residency (max 100 words)

Who can apply ? 

One space is reserved for artists/makers living with disabilities. (Accomodation in one of the reserved pods is fully accessible)

The second space is open to all artists and makers

The financials:

The cost of studio space and accommodation is fully covered.

Up to £250 stipend to support travel costs.

Artist fee of £1200 (per artist) for the period of the residency

Submit your application via this Google Form and follow that up with a single PDF detailing your submission (please refer to the questions above and respond to each of these) and a minimum of 6 supporting images of your work of no more than 5 years old.
