Fisher

I am a painter and illustrator. Born and bred in rural Western Australia, I grew up with a love of wide open spaces, freedom to roam and an appreciation for both domestic and wild creatures. I moved to Edinburgh, Scotland, some years ago where I undertook full time art studies at Edinburgh College of Art and Leith School of Art. I am interested in storytelling and enjoy creating narratives in my work. I have worked as a gallery attendant, participated in open studios and group exhibitions and co-created a children’s book Oren Leibowitz – Tuesday which was a Winner of the Scottish Association of Writers 2020 self-published book category. I love to travel, sketch wildlife along the way and have a growing collection of travel journals published on my website of the wildlife I have encountered. I enjoy collaborating with clients on commissions of paintings and illustrations. You can see my illustration work publicly at DelishYoss Coffee Bar in Edinburgh and my large scale tile installation at Canal Point Student Accommodation, West Tollcross.
