Settle between sea and sky, the horizon draws its line then disappears. Trace the edge of the island from its highest point and feel its holding of all that is present. Working between jewellery making and visual art, drawing, painting film and sound. My practice is driven by a fine art research methodology, exploring materials through the direct, felt experience of wild environments across the Scottish Highlands and Islands. Working across varied media and recycled precious metals, I combine traditional craftsmanship with contemporary practice to produce sculptural and studio works. Each piece reflects an ongoing investigation.
