Together

The kitchen table is the fulcrum around which many homes turn. This is where we gather to eat food, dissect our days, talk and laugh. We now have more and more objects of distraction around our homes, drawing us away from the table and away from the community it fosters. The act of sitting and eating together can start discussions and forge connections.

The objects in this collection are to be used everyday, they are not to be saved for best but to celebrate and glorify the daily rituals of the kitchen table. These objects then become containers for the memories that are made at the table, triggering recollections.

Several of these objects are designed with more than one use, they could hold tea lights, candles or flowers, depending on the meal or time of day. This creates some visual variety to keep them interesting even if you see them day after day.

The designs are inspired by objects of kitchen equipment, everyday items that we use to create the delicious meals that bring us together.
