Bessie

Schofield

Bessie’s work exists in a dichotomy of the politically playful. Silly and contemplative; humorous and introspective; it is an entertaining and absurd commentary on the polarised political landscape we live in. Forging printmaking, painting and sculpture, she creates garishly bright scenes anchored by a chilling sense of social disorder.
Materials: Acrylic, Etching, Lino Print, Monoprint, Oil, Pastel, Pen & Ink, Relief Print, Stitched, Tapestry
