Whilst walking the Scottish Coastline and Border Hills Yvonne has developed her original style of work.  Her paintings are acrylic and oil on canvas with pigmented layers and textured surfaces which imbue the work with a unique mood and atmosphere. 

This many layered technique gives the work an atmospheric quality and is a sensitive response to the landscape, evoking fleeting weather light and weather conditions.

Yvonne works as an artist  exhibiting in Art Galleries in the UK, an active member of the Network Artists in Northumberland,  Dumfries and Galloway Fine Art Society, SSA, VAS, SSA, InContemporaryArt Group, Livingston Arts Association.
