Investigation of the surface of paintings. through oil and beeswax. is my continuing theme.  When  working with smaller paintings  I like to hold the spontaneity of a particular  scene and its memory, and to manipulate the colours.    Working on a larger scale  gives  me the freedom to escape from the literal and to use colour as I feel it, not as it is in nature.
